By accessing our website, enrolling in our programs, or participating in any of our events or services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. 1. Use of Our Services

Empower Her Rise provides mentorship programs, educational content, virtual events, and community-based initiatives that support women of color pursuing careers in law, leadership, and higher education. By using our website or participating in our programs, you agree to:

  • Refrain from any conduct that is abusive, harmful, or disruptive to our community

2. Membership and Participation

By enrolling in our network, applying for a program, or attending an event hosted by Empower Her Rise, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date information on all forms and communications

  • Treat fellow participants, mentors, staff, and partners with respect and professionalism

  • Uphold our values of empowerment, equity, inclusion, and community care

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation in any program or service if your conduct violates our standards or undermines the safety and respect of our community.

3. Program Participation Contribution

Some programs such as our Lead Her Rise Mentorship Program require a Participation Contribution, which supports the facilitation of mentorship, materials, workshops, and administrative costs.

  • Contribution details (amount, deadlines, coverage) will be provided during the application or registration process.

  • All contributions are non-refundable unless otherwise communicated in writing.

  • Payment does not guarantee acceptance into any program, as space and eligibility may be limited.

  • We are committed to access and equity. Financial assistance or contribution waivers may be requested confidentially and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Annual Subscription Fee

Participants who wish to access certain extended services, exclusive content, or membership-based benefits may be required to pay an Annual Subscription Fee.

This fee helps maintain our program platforms, fund new offerings, and provide long-term community support.

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in advance.

  • Nonpayment may result in the loss of access to subscription-based features.

  • Subscription benefits and terms will be outlined clearly before registration or renewal.

  • Reduced-rate and sponsored subscriptions may be available for individuals facing financial hardship, subject to availability.

5. Event & Program Media Release

By attending any Empower Her Rise event whether virtual or in-person you consent to being photographed, recorded, or included in media content for promotional, archival, or educational purposes.

If you wish to opt out, you must provide notice to info@empowerherrise.org prior to the event date.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided through our website, programs, or digital platforms including logos, branding, written materials, event recordings, and visual media is the intellectual property of Empower Her Rise, Inc. or its designated contributors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use this content without prior written permission.

7. Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy matters to us. Any personal information you submit will be used strictly to facilitate your involvement with Empower Her Rise, including program communications, event reminders, and member services.
