Spotlight on Sara: National Mentorship Month 2026

At Empower Her Rise,Inc. We are proud to shine a spotlight on Sara, a remarkable mentee in the Lead Her Rise Mentorship Program. A Middle Eastern UCLA graduate and aspiring attorney, Sara’s journey is driven by her unwavering passion for social justice, advocacy, and empowering marginalized communities.

As a first-generation college graduate with a degree in Anthropology, Sara has witnessed firsthand how systemic barriers and limited access to legal resources can profoundly impact families. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in law—a path where her values of justice, service, and advocacy intersect. She aspires to become an attorney who helps make the legal system more accessible, humane, and just.

“I am honored to be part of the Lead Her Rise program and look forward to learning and growing alongside fellow women of color pursuing careers in law,” Sara shares.

Sara’s story reflects the mission of EmpowerHer Rise: to support and celebrate the next generation of leaders who are driving meaningful change in our communities. Through mentorship, guidance, and access to professional opportunities, we help mentees like Sara navigate the path to impactful careers in law and beyond.
