2025 Rise Scholarship Recipient Dariana Mallet: Resilience, Leadership, and Community Impact.

We are proud to celebrate Dariana Mallet as the inaugural recipient of The Rise Scholarship for 2025.

A Detroit native and rising junior at Delaware State University, Dariana is actively involved in leadership roles on campus, demonstrating her commitment to service and community empowerment. Inspired by her family’s lived experiences, Dariana’s mission is to become a criminal defense attorney who advocates fiercely for justice and equity.

Dariana shares:

Her words reflect not just her drive—but a shared mindset of strength, resilience, and the belief that the journey doesn’t end where the struggle begins.

Dariana is a bright and driven young woman with an outstanding academic record and a passion for leadership. Through her involvement, she uplifts her peers and fosters a community of support and resilience.

Supported by the Empower Her Future Fund, The Rise Scholarship provides Dariana with more than financial assistance—it offers mentorship, leadership development, and access to internship opportunities through Empower Her Rise that will help her thrive both academically and professionally.
